Robotics

CS 3630: Introduction to Robotics and Perception is a computer science class that focuses on giving students a fundamental understanding of robotics and perception at the software level. The main method of teaching is through various projects where students create software that allows for the proper functioning of robots of various purposes with various sensors. These robots range from a simple trash-sorting robot to autonomous vehicles and drones. The main focus of the class is learning how to integrate the information of various sensors with different levels of reliability to be able to make informed decisions to cause desired outcomes.
