Long Haul COVID Eye Mask

As part of the BMED 2250: Problems in Biomedical Engineering course, all students are given a specific problem in the current field of medicine that must be addressed and are challenged to find a possible solution. During my cohort, the problem of focus was long haul COVID, the aftermath symptoms once recovering from COVID that still linger in patients. We primarily focused on developing a device that focuses on fatigue using sleep-related symptoms as a way to monitor long haul COVID in patients. The final device that was created was an eye mask that contained an electrooculogram, pulse oximeter, and microphone.
